Última Dança [English translation]

Posing pretty for the photo, I stopped in the gaze

Of that drink, I looked away1

And said I wanted to be sober to see

Me and you

A dance for us to get entangled in each other

You asked me for a dance

And in this rhythm-less waltz2

My feet wanted to float through the air

I stole your attention, and you said: more

Don't stop, dance for me

Leave that body of yours pressed right up against mine

It was in this dance that we lived

It was in this dance that our wits melted away

Say it, if you want to say it

Say it at least, please

Come to me with your body bare, dressed only in your delirium

Come to me once and for all

Sail through my chest like how I dance for you

If you want to say it

At least say 'please'

Come to me wearing nothing but delirium3

Come to me once and for all

Sail through my chest like how I dance for you

Like how I dance for you

Like how I dance for you

Like how I dance for you

Tell me, if you want to say it

At least say it, please

Come to me wearing nothing but delirium

Come to me once and for all

Sail through my chest like how I dance for you

If you want to say it

Please, just say it

Come to me wearing nothing but delirium

Come to me once and for all

Sail through my chest like the way I dance for you

Like the way I dance for you

Like the way I dance for you

Like the way I dance for you

1. 'Copo', translated here 'drink', usually means an alcoholic drink when used on its own. However it can also just mean a 'glass' for any kind of drink.2. It doesn't literally say 'waltz', it just says 'dance', but I needed to change it up somehow. Also, "sem compasso" means 'having no beat or time (signature)'.3. "Loucura", translated here "delirium", means madness/having lost your good sense. I thought 'delirium' sounded better and a little more fitting for a sensual context like this one.
