Loulou [English translation]

Bitten here in the neck

Bitten by a Loulou

Lacerated, the whole skin

Lacerated, it was beautiful

Bitten by a face

Devoured, I have rabies1

A canine2 in my chest

A canine that assassinates me

Haunted by his story

Haunted by his gaze

Ravaged, the whole skin

Ravaged, it was beautiful

Haunted by his dirty hands

Devoured, yes I'm hurting

A canine in my chest

A canine that assassinates me

Loulou

Loulou

Where are you?

Where are you?

Ooh!

I become mad!3

Burnt, here on the mouth

Burnt, burnt4, no touchy 5

I caress the scar

I caress, like an actress

Burnt, by a hope

White smoke, black smoke

A canine in my chest

A canine that assassinates me

Evaded, I don't give a fuck

Evaded, where will I go?

You will go Loulou

Are you there?

I beg you, tell me where

Lost everywhere

Lost, I get lost in the mud

I have no house anymore, I admit everything

Am fullyfully 6 yours Louloulou!

Loulou

Loulou

Where are you?

Where are you?

Ooh!

I become mad!

I become mad!

Loulou

Where are you?

Where are you?

I become mad!

1. A play on the words "rage" and "rabies" which are the same in French, litterally "I have the rage"2. the tooth, not the animal. Although the choice for the use of this particular tooth probably was not random3. "fou" is the masculine of the adjective, while Juliette would be expected to use "folle" the feminine variant. The artist confirmed in an interview she likes to play with gender in her songs4. "cramé" is slang, it means "very burnt / fucking burnt" (compare with "cremated" in English although these do not have the same nuance! Do not say "cramé" at a cremation!) 5. "pas touche" is often used by children6. Yet another play on words, "toutou" is slang for "dog". So, she literally says "Am your doggy, Louloulou"
