In a cottage far away deep within the forest
Father Christmas ties his last bow
If they like those like him; those like here on the globe
Now he's created with his steady old hand
All the world's children know that he shall come
For that is what he's done for many hundreds of years
Therefor it's really hard to sleep
When one knows that chrismas stands before the door
And one dreams the whole night about what you want to have
And one wants each package to be a bit hard.
Lise dreams about a doll
Stian about a kaborbook(1)
It's excitment and joy's night in each little hook
Around which a star hangs in all homes
That shall shine for a message god has
And it feels like it lights up to protect
all people who live upon this earth.
