Life was flying,

Floors were flashing

Towards those

Who turned into shadows.

It was flying

So fast and so absurdly,

Tobacco was burning,

Turning into ash.

And it was falling down,

Where life was flying,

Or up,

The way everybody drifts,

Or forward,

Moving in circles,

Or on the March ice,

Out of fear,

Or skyward,

To draw a figure

In the gloomy sky.

Life was flying,

Floors were flashing.

Governments were changing

After drinking blood to their hearts' content.

The sphere was rotating,

Giving peace a chance.

Everything was flying,

Gaining momentum,

Losing count,

Rooting out,

Hoping that everything

Would repeat itself

Again and again.
