I left my life of misery
to the cold depths of the Earth
So I could find the path of eternity,
thanks to my prayers
Stumbling under this vast canopy*,
I followed, running alongside my heart in disarray,
finding my way
The path to eternity
Hurting my hands on the rocks
My body dirty from blood and from earth
I climbed my way up, it was a long ordeal
The path of eternity
I cried, I suffered, but what does it matter?
Because right now, my sorrows are dead
Because I see that the path of eternity
Leads to your door
The Almighty gives birth to a storm,
for a flash of lightening to rip apart a cloud.
Thus leading me through
to the path of eternity
In order to not stain anything,
And to not make anything dirty,
If it reassures you,
I can take off my shoes, without hesitating
And with my bare feet
And my strained hands
I want to gain
Eternity
