La posada de los muertos [English translation]

Hold your beer up,

toast to freedom.

Drink and party with us;

hell is this bar.

If you've lost your way, listen to me,

reaching the finish line isn't victory.

The journey's what matters, and while on it,1

to fall, to stand back, to persevere, to learn.

If you've lost a kiss in a goodbye,

or you're running away from a fate that denied you

the chance for happiness,

come with us, we're over here.

In this inn the dead

make you hear their life stories and laugh at

whoever, being alive, wishes to be dead.

In the hereafter, drinks aren't ever served.

Hold your beer up,

toast to freedom.

Drink and party with us,

and get the reaper drunk.2

Hold your beer up,

toast to freedom,

and may heaven await you,

for hell is this bar.

And if night's so dark that

you can't even see your own hands,

be sure that the sun will rise,

and, meanwhile, I invite you to my bar.

In my tavern, the dead,

when the sun rises, leave to inflict

harsh punishments and dark torments

to those who don't want to be or let be.3

Hold your beer up,

toast to freedom.

Drink and party with us,

and get the reaper drunk.

Hold your beer up,

toast to freedom,

and may heaven wait for you,

for hell is this bar.

Hold your beer up,

drink and toast for being alive,

let's join our cups,

this night's all for you.

Hold your beer up,

toast to freedom.

Drink and party with us,

and get the reaper drunk.

Hold your beer up,

toast to freedom,

and may heaven wait for you,

for hell is this bar.

Come into the bar, you bastards!4

Also, "cabrón" (singular) can sometimes have a positive connotation, like "lucky bastards" or "you're rough". But if it doesn't refer to a friend, and the speaker doesn't make that positive message clear , it pretty much means "arsehole".
