I may have randomly
Or purposefully
Or just by accident
Sometimes happened to say:
I am an almost happy man!
Others are so afraid of death
That they are unable to live;
In a hurry to achieve
Something maybe larger than life...
When I read the autumn leaves
And suffer from summer hangover
I want to catch up again
Without having to hurry -
I am an almost happy man!
It may be that I'll never finish anything
By just painting the sky
I still have obtained almost everything
With which to fill my heart;
I am an almost happy man!
We count the shooting stars
And under the blood red maple tree
We feel how fragile are
The signs of winter about to begin...
I have been afraid to leave
Yet ran away so many times
I won't leave anymore, I'll live now -
I have come back from far away;
I am an almost happy man!
It may be that I'll never finish anything
By just painting the sky
I still have obtained almost everything
With which to fill my heart;
I am an almost happy man!
I may have randomly
Or purposefully
Or just by accident
Sometimes happened to say:
I am an almost happy man!
