Who knows whether there are really any footprints on the Moon
And why the one who's drowning keeps kicking
What kind of muscle keeps the Earth spinning
And what is truth? We save it, maybe to keep some for later
It's spotted and black and white like a dalmatian
The poor girl is out of breath
And what about the wind? The Northern wind doesn't always have to be harsh
And this Earth doesn't have to be ruled by an idiot
I wish you nerves of steel
And that all saints stand by you
Everything is different, the angry Earth is spewing out tons of burning lava
Kids on plains are looking for purple cows
What does the truth look like, which one of you can tell?
No one knows it, it appears quickly and just as quickly it disappears
I hope it doesn't lie and it's still honest
And doesn't cry on the balcony
So what's there to believe in?
Maybe only in the entities flying around our heads
They bring us secret but reliable messages
And also gifts which we are scared to return
We'll pay for it, you bet!
I have to go, I'll find it (truth) myself
Even just for that feeling that I know it
I'll travel the world and maybe even the whole universe
