Look into my eyes
You'll see a gaze full of will to live
I don't want to watch by how life drains from hands
And you'll see I still have no clue about this life
But maybe someday I'll understand something about this life
Look into my eyes
And you'll see the two different sides of me
When they are green, heart, happiness, no worries
When they are brown, I'm afraid of the thoughts inside me
And from the gaze you'll see the anxiety inside me
When you look into my eyes
You'll only see a lot of happiness and agony
But if you look close you'll see only black and white
You can't get a hold of me, I don't let the eyes tell everything
They only show that it's been hard
They've seen me grow from small to bigger
The world has made my ears see and my eyes hear
From them you can see what you did yesterday and what today
But it's only a scratch on the surface, what you see from them
Look into my eyes
Look deep, deep into my heart
So you'll find all that gives strength to my pen
The strength to try, the strength to withstand all the shit
The strength to believe and hope, and love
Look into my eyes
Look deep, deep into my heart
So you'll find all that gives strength to my pen
The strength to my smile, to my will, to my life
Look into my eyes and tell what you see
I look into your eyes
And I see a challenge in you
I don't want to just look at the surface but to see behind it
And walk the path that takes deeper into you
And see if they really are mirrors in your soul
From them I see when you smile, I see when they fill with water
But I'd like to learn to see a lot, lot more from them
To learn to read your world, your experiences
To support you in the world, explore your thoughts
I look into your eyes
And I see the film of your life
How you want to run away and how you want to break free
You're covering the insecurity, but I see it anyway
I see how you're reaching for dreams, looking at clouds
One glimpse tells what you're thinking
How you're eaten away by fear, how you lie
How, when you're depressed, you get silent before me
Look at yourself in the mirror, think of what you're running away from
Look into my eyes
Look deep, deep into my heart
So you'll find all that gives strength to my pen
The strength to try, the strength to withstand all the shit
The strength to believe and hope, and love
Look into my eyes
Look deep, deep into my heart
So you'll find all that gives strength to my pen
The strength to my smile, to my will, to my life
Look into my eyes and tell what you see
I try to look you in the eyes at least very quickly
Noticed, I look at this world almost as blind
Half I wouldn't want to see, half I'm forced to
What the world shows to my eyes has to be a compliment
Or maybe I'm just so lost because I can't stand to see even a drop of blood
The world just complains, a choice has to be made about this
Do I keep them open or close the other lid too
And I wouldn't wake up tomorrow anymore
I see too much despair in the eyes of the people
I wait for the day when a hope wakes up
And I want to see a spark glow in the eyes
The bars of the mind's jail, the spark will saw them away
When I look around me, looking for happiness
For tomorrow, for a new better future
This incredibly beautiful world, like in that film
And that beauty is in your own eyes
Look into my eyes
Look deep, deep into my heart
So you'll find all that gives strength to my pen
The strength to try, the strength to withstand all the shit
The strength to believe and hope, and love
Look into my eyes
Look deep, deep into my heart
So you'll find all that gives strength to my pen
The strength to my smile, to my will, to my life
Look into my eyes and tell what you see
