I am a rag doll, forgotten in a cellar
In a cardboard box with all the pointless bric-a-brac
Why did I ever paint your eyes...?
I am a fragile Christmas toy,
A disco ball with your reflection
I am that which is broken...I am that which you can't stick back together
The stars and the multicoloured ribbons on a wheel
The multicoloured carousel tuns at full speed
And takes its time to travel the oceans of fire...
I stand and I regard the parade
The towns, the trains, the sights...everything is imperceptible
The carousel turns without me...
I am a reflection of the stupid and carefree sun,
Which has accidentally landed someone by the window.
I cry with joy, I laugh without reason.
I am a little red heart of a stuffed toy,
A ball for safety pins....
A useless present from St. Valentine...
The stars and the multicoloured ribbons on a wheel
The multicoloured carousel turns at full speed
And takes its time travelling the oceans of fire
I stand and I watch the parade
The towns, the trains, the sights, everything is imperceptible
The carousel turns without me...
I am a yellow leaf on a chessboard,
Abandoned by someone in a cold park,
On coastal sand covered in your tears
I am a paper dove which is positioned in the trees
Battered by the wind, soaked by the snow
I am a paper leaf removed from a book...
The stars and the multicoloured ribbon on a wheel
The multicoloured carousel turns at full speed
And takes its time crossing the oceans of fire
I stand and I watch the parade
The towns, the trains, the sights, everything is imperceptible
The carousel turns without me....
