Carnival, at the stream there's a carnival
It's a shame if anyone misses it
The waterfalls are foaming
The branches are carried away
And all the raging water
Is washing out, is washing out
The mighty stream flows
From the Snir Stream and the Golan
It bursts in dancing
In a great celebration
Carnival, at the stream there's a carnival...
The water rises and washes
And also carries us with it
To revive in a storm
The terrible Sea of Death
In the Arabah a siren is sound
And away, away into the desert
There it will lead its good stream
To catch fish in Lake Bardawil
Carnival, at the stream there's a carnival...
The stream overflows
Its flow is strong, its water's fresh
Its brooks are forceful, its floods are washing
They fill the entire land.
Its paths are numerous and are not simple
It marks the borders
It nurtures fields and plains
And sings under the bridges.
Carnival, at the stream there's a carnival...
With the valley and the hill
The plain and the desert
They're all washed, they're all beautiful
They all tan with us.
So all of you should come together
To cleanse your souls a little
To slide fast down the hills
And be as drunk as we are.
