The sun rises and brightens the sky.
Beside the road, there is an inn
named Regret. There is only darkness inside the inn;
Not much of bright tomorrows 1.
But the owner pulled me back,
Told me that it is a happy inn,
People walk in here and never want to leave2.
Surprisingly I straightened my shoulders,
looked up and said:
I want to go forth on my journey,
I want to take pride in myself,
I want to reach for the stars and won’t be a prisoner,
I am not afraid to tread on a thousand mountains, nor mind
the dust and dirt on my face.
I fasten my pace and go forth on my journey,
I want to take pride in myself,
I want to reach for the stars and won’t be a prisoner.
The stars seem high from a distant, but they are not that high;
I can definitely reach them.
The sun rises and illuminates the long road;
Sunlight shines over and across the mountain ranges.
Be like me, never stop on the journey3,
Set your heart on venturing down the long road with the wind.
I want to go forth on my journey,
I want to take pride in myself,
I want to reach for the stars and won’t be a prisoner,
I am not afraid to tread on a thousand mountains, nor mind
the dust and dirt on my face.
Even when I am exhausted I will still go forth on my journey.
I want to take pride in myself,
I want to reach for the stars and won’t be a prisoner.
The stars seem high from a distant, but they are not that high;
I can definitely reach them. I can definitely reach them.
