Wrath rises against goodwill of love
It inadvertently slays everything
It sends the ferryman of Hades on his rounds again
It joins life and death together in marriage
A loud dirge is sung and the shores are covered in blood
The song of death is chanted, carrying its tale afar
The grim hymn and the river ferry move in sinister harmony
A choir of tribesmen on the shores curse this mortal coil
Dread - it will blind even the most brave mind
Anger will cake parched tongues in blood
And once again the ferry of Hades departs
To cure the disease of mankind
A soul will never find peace, not ever
There’s no solace for the forlorn
Under earthly dirt an abode can be found
Only one the poor wretch can have
