Itay came on Monday
Wearing black turtleneck
I thought a temporary fling
That will heal upcoming night
And will leave with dawn
And disappear, and I won't remember
Itay is used to excitements,
He had tough months,
Went through too many women
And almost never loved
He's looking for a soft shoulder,
Few nights of denial
Itay doesn't dwell too much on feelings,
He doesn't care what goes on in my life
After he shuts the door and says goodbye.
And that's my first winter alone.
Itay finished half a bottle
And all he needs now
Is a half hug from me
To get his head together,
He'll fall asleep and disappear in the morning,
And we'll be back to ignoring each other.
He feels nice beside me,
I too struggle a bit being alone,
Tonight he's resting in my hands,
We're playing in love with each other.
Of course it's temporary,
He has others and that's not my business.
Itay doesn't dwell too much on feelings,
He doesn't care what goes on in my life
After he shuts the door and says goodbye.
And that's my first winter alone.
And that is me who chanced to be upon his low path,
Who doesn't mind his business, only minds hers,
Who doesn't make big deal of you, who won't tell you
How much sadness there is in this gaze of yours,
How much loneliness there is in this touch of yours.
Itay doesn't dwell too much on feelings,
He doesn't care what goes on in my life
After he shuts the door and says goodbye.
And that's my first winter alone.
