Every day they kept us growing,
We're the pea beans easygoing.
Now they've gathered us together,
Take and eat us, don't say: never.

We are grown then dried and beaten,
So that we'd be not only eaten.
From us they grow their own replacement
Just to bang on brick encasement.
You've been boiled in soup as main treat,
You've been eaten, now you're dead meat.
Who said it's a useless effort:
Banging heads on walls in terror?
Clap! Your eyes climb on the forehead,
Forehead turns into flint-stone bed.
Pea beans will be cast in bullets,
Bullets will be cast in pull weights,
With such strong heavy duty strike balls
We will break through any dyke walls.

Strong as steel became our muscles.
