Ever since I was a child, I liked faery tales, and the sweetest ones tended to be my mother's
Witches and princes, faeries and kings, and my hero defeated thousands of enemies
But time passed, and my faery tales and I were left alone in a world of truths
And when you came into my life, all the light left
I live a half-life, never alone and never a stranger.
I'm disappearing, I'm disappearing
My clothes have shrunk--or, at least, that's how I feel.
I'm disappearing, I'm disappearing
I'm entering a dream and disappearing
I'm always stuck in a corner of my own mind
I go inside and I'm in my own faery tale
I'll be a queen and you'll be my prince
In my faery tale, I'll be your hero.
I'm disappearing, I'm disappearing
My clothes have shrunk--or, at least, that's how I feel.
I'm disappearing, I'm disappearing
I'm entering a dream and disappearing
I always thought my life would be a state of mind
With everybody around me giving me no sign
I felt the fog in my world darkening my eyes
Raised and shackled by a story I left behind
But then you came and all the shadows flew away
You called me twice before but I have been too late
It's up to you if you decide to let it linger
You know my broken heart is wrapped around your fingers
I fade away...
