I stroke a singed hide
A distant light grabs the throat
Blood drips from the mouth onto the floor
Increasing, mixing with entrails
A man, still warm, is packaged with string
Happily whistling songs of home
A child takes it to the palace
Saliva gluttonously drips down
I can't hold out against this greed
Bursting rage wants to take control of me
I split apart to teach myself
From within me speaks but an animal
