This six-tatami room, my castle1
A secret place nobody can enter (Yeah)
"You only live once" is the password2
Just knock before entering
Or else there's going to be a bad ending
Ghost Food
We'll never meet in real life
Online is more comfortable
But I've got no interest in what others have to say
So I just nod and smile
Making up lies is such a bother
So I'm honest for the most part
An empty box of sweets, perfume of deceit
Just what was my real name again?
That cute girl is mostly manufactured
The background is distorted
These inorganic substances would never betray
So my viewing history is full of anime
I don't want to put on weight but exercising is tiresome
I have ice cream for dinner 3
Expensive soda from dusk to dawn
Or so the purple bunny sings
This six-tatami room, my castle
A secret place nobody can enter (Yeah)
It sounds cheap when you say it out loud
So it's a spell to be chanted inside
This six-tatami room, my castle
A secret place nobody can enter
It sounds cheap when you say it out loud
So it's a spell to be chanted inside
F-O-O-D
There aren't enough sweet words in my head
I'm sure this is how I was destined to be
Being gray,
Being quiet,
Speaking little is the way to go
Getting better at just making excuses
Time with nothing in it is passing by
Pretending to really notice
When you actually don't notice at all
One-way ticket for embarking on the loop line
This corroded noisy state of mind
Being gray,
Being quiet,
Speaking little is the way to go
Getting better at just making excuses
The poison gradually turns into a wedge4
Pretending to really notice
When you actually don't notice at all
This six-tatami room, my castle
A secret place nobody can enter (Yeah)
It sounds cheap when you say it out loud
This six-tatami room, my castle
A secret place nobody can enter
It sounds cheap when you say it out loud
So it's a spell to be chanted inside
1. 畳, pronounced "jou" rather than "tatami", is a measure of room size in tatami mats (tatami is also spelled 畳).2. 合言葉 (aikotoba) can also mean "motto", but I think "password" (as in a countersign to verify that someone's an ally) fits the text better.3. lit. "ice cream instead of rice". ごはん (gohan) is cooked rice, and by extension any meal of the day.4. I could swear this word was 薬 (kusuri = medicine) when I heard it, but the official lyrics say 楔 (kusabi = wedge)
