For me it should rain red roses
I should encounter all the wonders
The world was going to change
And keep its troubles to itself
And later I'd say
"I want to: Understand, see much,
To know, to keep."
And later still I said:
"I wish not to be alone
And yet be free."
I want red roses to rain
I want to see all the wonders
I want happiness to be gentle
It should manage my destiny with love
And today I say silently
"I shall: Submit, be content -
I cannot submit,
Can't be content,
Still want to win,
Want all - or nothing!"
For me it should rain red roses
I should meet a whole new wonder
Far from the old, unfold anew
Of what awaits, hold most.
