It was a great day -
It slipped by, just like the others,
The wind stood still behind the scenes,
The rows were occupied by gloom.
Six tired
wanderers came to a halt
Bowing their heads in silence
Just to rest for a minute, a minute.
It has been a great day -
Slipping by, just like yesterday.
We're interrupting our concert for now
And will carry on, when tomorrow comes.
