Behind the train station stands a young boy with his suitcase
and here the trains run every minute
where you don't want to go.
He knows all of this from his grandfather
who always took him here,
and that you have to be careful
or the last train will leave without you.
Opposite sits an old man in ripped clothes
he raises the bottle into the air and shouts:
"All hands on deck!"
while the wise men are standing and pondering here
the dumb ones are already conquering the mountain
and as you can see my train has left a long, long time ago.
A man sits down next to him and says:
"A crow sits next to a crow."
He takes the bottle, empties it and
then he throws it against the wall
He shouts: "Broken crockery still brings luck!
But luck is a silly cow,
as you can see it always runs to
the dumbest oxes."
At the tracks stands a litte boy with his suitcase
he wants to go to the sea because he knows
that the sea always stays where it is now.
And every person needs something to love,
and this train goes to Erkenschwick.
But he doesn't know exactly
if that's even by the water.
Out of the loudspeaker someone calls over the tracks
"Please stand back!"
A goose flew over the sea and thinks
she'll forget all that crap.
If you don't have something to love
you have to love what you have.
And she returned as a silly goose,
this train doesn't go to the sea,
this train goes to Erkenschwick.
