I have never been to Ireland, but they have been here
And they gave us music with whiskey barrels.
Well, I most certainly did not have a taste of their whiskey
but I got happy when they gave their present to us.
And there in the corner of the pub those leprechauns played their song,
those wise men of humanity, those brothers in spirit.
So yeah so yeah so yeah so yeah!
I felt deep joy and lived the music
when someone took out of their bag a new instrument
And without me noticing I had a pint of Guinness in my hand
It was a little bit weird but I got used to that
The assamble is a little bit queer
the other one is true irishman and the other is a jew.
So yeah so yeah so yeah so yeah!
The music, it led me towards the blue
and took me to a windy, treeless moor
And I beat the rhytm and was bubbling with beer
and for a while the boozer was in Dublin
So yeah so yeah so yeah so yeah!
They said that the strength of a small nation is in their art
It is tattood in the musician's soul of the people.
A small nation does not make it in the world if they don't have a heart and the spirit
They sang and they started a terrible swing.
