Although my life be full of darkness

I don't need to love, no I don't.

I know that to love is a sorrow,

And that a sorrow caused by love is infinite.

I don't need to love - I am ashamed

to love again what I have loved.

Any repetition is an offense

Disdainful, like the gods,

I shall continue to fight for my destiny
