When I was little, heaven
was somewhere above in the air
And you could only get there
With the very last train
Everybody was dressed in white sheets
an walked along golden streets
Over squares with fountains
filled with red lemonade
And you flew through white clouds
And an angle held you tight
And you could walk on water
Because the water was made of glas.
Eerybody there was happy
No more hunger
No more pain
If you lived here in misery
There, everything was different.
But I don't know any longer
Where heaven is
I don't know where I go to after this life
Then I saw heaven
With the eyes of a child
But heaven disappeared for good
Heaven diappeared / is gone
I grew older and belived
In another phantasy
And I followed Zarathustra
With a kind of anarchy
When I flew above the clouds
To a country far from here
I did not see any golden gates
Nor did I see there any fountains
And I do not know any more
Where heaven is
I don't know where I go to after this life
Sometimes I see heaven
In the eyes of a woman
But this only lasts a moment
Heaven only lasts a moment
