I had a florid orchard
of carnations and lilies
of roses and jasmines
that took my suffering and sorrows.
Every day in the morning
when the sun rose from the east
I greeted the good morning
with a heart full of joy.
Now I can only cry
tears of melancholy
a strong wind took
the carnation I loved most.
There's no consolation for me
but I have one thing to tell:
thank you my dear friends1
for the company you've given me.2
