The earth, it spins upon an axis
One way, it's always done
Tilted upon a terrestrial plane
Day and night it rolls along
From the west, to the east
Through all the seasons so
Whirling, spinning, 1000 mph
For sidereal spans of time
Seasons sling by per annum
Desert heat and polar cold
Drought dry and monsoons wet
Fault line quake and quiet
So much is spinning, such vertigo
Stop the earth...
For I want to get off this ride
Revolving about the sun
This terrestrial tilt-a-whirl
On an annual concession of confusion
...Daily, Dynamic, Disoriented
