For the one from whose breasts God suckled milk

it is no wonder to heal the crippled.

Concerning this, Saint Mary performed a wonderful miracle,

great and merciful, in her church in Lugo

for a woman whose body was almost entirely

paralyzed and shriveled with a disease.

The bishop and all the people standing there,

seeing and hearing this and weeping with emotion,

saw that it was a miracle and not deceit;

and fervently praised the Virgin for that.
