They are loosing themselves in time (the years)
My years are being left far away
My father doesn’t take me by the hand anymore

The memories of my childhood are living inside of me

How I remember my father
He smiled with that
While my mother was watching.
Years, that are coming slowly, at first
Move forward so slowly
How I wanted to grow up, I remember
For not staying at home.
And to go with my father far away
Maybe, to the end of the world
Because my father used to be strong
He was very intelligent
He was better than anyone.
Today, I don’t want the years to go by, anymore
Because my father is now old
His hands are covered with wrinkles
And his hear, with snow.
Oh God, I’m asking you to stop time
Because you can do that
Because I really don’t understand, my God, why
Good times are going away.
When, one day, your steps get tired
I want to be the one who takes care of them
Meanwhile, give me a hug
And let’s see what you’re going to tell me.
