It keeps raining!
The asphalt of the streets is slippery today like the belly of a fish,
The wet sky is moving lower and lower,
To see itself in the ruffled by the rain water.
And I?
I walk desperately and in spite of everyone I get wet,
I look at the sky, catching rain drops in my mouth,
Flattened faces in the window watch me, no matter!
It keeps raining!
People are running because they very much fear the rain,
Standing in a gate barely able to contain them,
Jumping over the puddles in their way.
And I?
I walk, not caring about the downpour or hurrying,
Feeling the rain drops caress my lips,
With a folded umbrella I go on foot, oh yes!
It keeps raining!
Streams of water are already flowing along the alleys,
Some couple covered themselves with a cape,
Watching the lilacs soak in the garden.
And I?
I walk in streams of water but with my head high,
No power forces me or rushes me,
I go like a herald of storm with a flower in my hand, oh yes!
It keeps raining!
Suddenly the heavens opened up with fire,
Then heavy rain began to pour sideways,
The maple leaves trembled in great terror.
And I?
I walk, not intimidated by storm or downpour,
Nor the lightning that struck next to the tree,
I listen to the wind's ever changing tune.
It keeps raining!
Suddenly the heavens opened up with fire,
Then heavy rain began to pour sideways,
The maple leaves trembled in great terror.
And I?
I walk, not intimidated by storm or downpour,
Nor the lightning that struck next to the tree,
I listen to the wind's ever changing tune.
And I?
And I walk desperately and in spite of everyone I get wet,
I look at the sky, catching rain drops in my mouth,
Flattened faces in the window watch me, no matter!
