Not a single day goes by

When I don't feel kissed

By the salty perfume

Of a spellbound city.

In an incomparable Carnival

Down the millenary streets,

Down the alleys, the boulevards

Of this imaginary city.

My friends say

That I am not the same I was before;

I watch the sea and there's a joy

That invades me in a single instant...

Disguising my sorrow,

Out of so much happiness...
