Hours fly by, the sea sighs under faraway stars dropped as a trembling pinch of gold on the swell
It begins its hypnotic dance, in which my discoloured gaze is engrossed
Just as an airborne soul, I would like to disappear without fear under the waves, to hear their bewitched lament spring forth from the depths
They'd call me from their kingdom of pearls and sharp marine scales to take me away from my kind, from a world which is foreign to me
Holding their hand, slowly, I would like to sink into black waters welcoming me in silence
To bid farewell to the glimmers of the morning, to let the cold currents purify my thoughts, petrify my flesh, so I can find sleep at the very bottom of the ocean
