No one chooses one’s country,
where to take one’s first breath –
one is born in poverty, other – in wealth,
some hoist the sails and set out,
chasing the dreams of their lives,
searching second home elsewhere…
But for the heart in my chest
there is no second home!
Without myself choosing this – to be born right here,
I choose to stay, to stay in Bulgaria!
For better or for worse, I am to live here –
all the million of reasons for this have the name “Love”!
There may for others be a more beautiful
and happier place in the world –
there is no more precious place for me,
my blood hasn’t turned into water!
