I am drawing yellow lizards and crimson snakes
Twisted thunderclouds where lonely sirens wail
Outside above us darkness awaits
But the sky is in my hands, on the walls that are smooth and pale
All these mountains, these rivers covered in ice
This blizzard, the snowy white plains, I will name them in your sake
Scorched and lonely, the sun sees the winter’s demise
The forests and flowers bloom, April is soon to awake
Please darling be mine please be my meaning of life
All alone on forsaken course, in front of my silver screen
The whole world is made up, the whole world is made up of lies
I crave for your body’s warmth, I just want “us” something to mean
Outside, someone’s crying and someone deludes
That the footsteps are calling for them, the rain like the rustle of books
I am drawing this festive solemn salute
Flowers, balloons and flags, a thousand smiles and looks
Please darling be mine please be my meaning of life
All alone on forsaken course, in front of my silver screen
The whole world is made up, the whole world is made up of lies
I crave for your body’s warmth, I just want “us” something to mean
Outside, someone’s crying and someone deludes
That the footsteps are calling for them, the rain like the rustle of books
Without you my music and poetry mutes
My life is as good as gone, with thunder and fumbling of rooks
Please darling be mine please be my meaning of life
All alone on forsaken course, in front of my silver screen
The whole world is made up, the whole world is made up of lies
I crave for your body’s warmth, I just want “us” something to mean
