Man is a foolish creature
Born to destructive societies
That brutally teach and take
They lose themselves into it
And trade their souls for desire
To please the whole, to be accepted
Their voices acclaim the cult
To the end they will go then
Unthinking, feelings deep within
Brainwashed by their culture
A cult of personality strong
That demands blood from stone
Yet as an individual different
Accountability alone to face
The empathy of self filters in
And takes away absolution
What was a faceless affair
Finds its reflection in self
The stones stacked long ago
Decay in time's passing grave
The blood that trickled down
Washed away by cleansing rains
Erasing all traces of despirations
Leaving but silent ruins unkept
