They tour the skies
So busy they are
Swarming randomly
They visit the flowers
Take nectar in barter
And pollinate a trade
Drab, bad days pass
they are no fly ones
The hive is filled then
Buzzing anticipation
Kept warm in winter
Lest they die off
A jar full of honey
Taken from a hive
Maintaining trades
A total accumulation
Of flowers varied
Two million or more
They give their lives
In the service of all
That the young grow
Working together
Harmoniously humming
Soaring the sun's rays
Bees keep us fed
Pesticides timed
To limit exposure
And hives kept away
On time reacting
They must not die
Do not let fear of them
Be the vanguard
Decisions easily made
In the fields they ply
Without incident near
Sharing the bounty
Unachievable without them
