A bad neighbor is a thief
Stealing freedom from others
The freedom to live in peace
Simply by being poor citizens
They pilfer peace of mind
Or borrow with one intention
To retain what has been gotten
Without remorse or qualm
Those that grease the wheels
That society needs - to be
Cheated of their little sheep
By their idle debauchery
No pride nor care of anything
Robs the others of value
Worked long and so hard for
Debtors seek justice then
They come, they go away
A fetid breeze most foul
That lingers on beyond them
A legacy tainted, lasting
Hopes and ardor decompose
Blowing like trash left behind
The air carries profanities
And freedom falls to disrepair
