My rose is such a pretty girl
That her coffin
Is maybe a golden safe
In it sleeps my golden rose
Golden freckles on her rosey cheek
And sometimes i ask for a kiss
My rose is a poison, sweet
Her coffin is open wide
Crying in there i lie too
The ribbon of my rose
Flies in the wind, storm tosses it
My rose loved it so much
(but) it's no longer on her hair.
And sometimes i barely beg
My rose to arrive home
Her coffin is open wide
She lies there too, crying
My rose is such a pretty girl
If she hugs me, my heart bursts
She'll put me into bed,
And she'll hug me once again
And sometimes if i think i see her
My rose in summer's wind
Her coffin is open wide
We both lie in it, crying
