Money lent to family
Consider it a gift
Lest its repayment
Separate the tribes
For many a debt
It keeps a short memory
And obligations erased
As sands pour forth
Few are those recalled
That keep close merits
Integrity and duty both
Have few true friends
The percieved dues
Vindicated views
That justify pilfery
Claiming compensation
None corrupts fully
Like mammon's voice
That dulls moral senses
Deemed deaf and dumb
Avarice has no master
No favourites to keep
Greed blinds reasoning
Duping indisciminately
There is no exchange
No rate for currency
That can reclaim again
All lost in its pursuit
