I was born on March on broad daylight,

I was the joy and the worry

of that small-town home,

I was raised near the reedbed,

I quenched my thirst in a spring,

I gave my song to the roads.

I lived between the flaw and the virtue,

uneases and calm,

I lived sadness and joys,

if some time I was wrong

I don't regret because

I know today that's the school of life.

I passed from the inocence to the harshness,

from childhood without transition

to be a man,

maybe one day I find that boy,

carrying his oldness in his back

to who knows where.

I really loved the simple things

I was learning to value

every detail of life,

I'm not sorry of my past,

I forgot what I suffered,

I'm the author of my joy.
