There, standing in majesty
The castles and palaces
In regal manner illusionary
Visible across the fields
Of frigid blowing snows
By day's light unwarming
By night's, stillness unyielding
The flowing white carpets
Stretch out to the sea
Through grand corridors
Carved through eons passing
Rivers that flow oh, so slow
As if to stand forever still
They sculpt the kingdom there
The few that frequent here
Find an austere realm e'er
Compassion is true sacrifice
In an empire so wondrous
Life thrives in fierce cold
The troubles are numerous
Often another day n'er comes
Beneath the starry heavens
In the embittered squalls
This dominion accommodating
Between the phases of water
In a world where it all ends
To simply fall to sleep here
Is to quickly vanish away
