Late sunday morning
I won't get up from the bed
in the bedroom air is tame.
Dust floats in the sunshine
you're still sleeping next to me
upstairs the afterparty keeps going on.
We have a quite fancy world
there's all kinds of happenings
useless searches of meanings.
And so we invented a god
to explain coincidence.
Somebody has to compensate all the suffering, right?
I believe in man,
I believe in an animal
and in mathematics
with certain reservations.
I believe in you and
I believe in me and
that we have everything in our hands.
Atheist's morning devotion.
We came here from the stars
and into stars we return
in the middle there's a morning and our hustles.
You start to wake up and
you look at me with a smile
and there somewhere wheels squaek.
I believe in man,
I believe in an animal
and in the laws of physics
with certain reservations.
I believe in you and
I believe in me and
that we have everything in our hands.
Atheist's morning devotion.
I believe in man,
I believe in an animal.
I believe in you and
I believe in me.
I believe in man,
I believe in an animal
and in mathematics
with certain reservations.
I believe in you and
I believe in me and
that we have everything in our hands.
Atheist's morning devotion.
Atheist's morning devotion.
