Rain, wind, black water
Cold everywhere
Wet clothes on the dispirited
The lakeshore traveller
Come forth black coals
Burned trees
Around the sedges and
The shore's mosses
Fire between two
Stuck into earth
Silent skewers
Now already abandoned
But why is in the earth only
One seating-twig
When from this campfire
Rose the last smoke into the air
Where
Where is Antti Kaitainen
Ears hear a woman's scream
Was it a woman
Maybe by the campfire
Sitting with company
Hear a scream at the same time
An old man's
Anxiously already
Making it half way through his trip
Half-way trip that
Was not even
Has never been
In existence
Where
Where is Antti Kaitainen
