Embayed, enclosed by ice. How can I stay sane?
Winter - the iron bull
Lets loose sparks from power lines with its horns.
Survive being apart till morning
And bolt the doors
But February is open to all the winds
And heavenly timekeeper is a liar
He does not know where he forgot
Three thousand hours* yesterday.
And cut off heads
In executioner's sack
Bleed through ice
With scarlet moons.
Ravens rush towards East
Among cloud swells.
But the sun - a knyaz*
With a thorny supernova crown
Hurries in the opposite direction
To you, to you, to you!
So beware
Duck
As long as light
Streams down vertically
But be careful
Not to spurn it
As long as fire burns
Inside of me,
And do not squeeze it
Inside your fist,
And do not even second-guess -
What if
My living substance -
Darting quicksilver, doesn't reach you?
And the count of vein-beats will show us the way
Someday.
When tarry earth
Wakes from its sleep
It will ooze clear water
And silvery willow
And your effervescent blood
And spring - your flesh.
So beware
Duck
As long as light
Streams down vertically
But be careful
Not to spurn it
As long as fire burns
Inside of me,
And do not squeeze it
Inside your fist,
And do not even second-guess -
What if
My living substance -
Darting quicksilver, doesn't reach you?
And the count of vein-beats will show us the way
Someday.
