The earth lazily awakens
From its winter hibernation
Though the swelling buds
That cling to trees plentiful
Remain tightly closed, crimson
Winter's icy hand outstretched
It reaches out to cover still
Across the land on an occasion
With a blanket of crystal white
Trying to recall the spring
But sun and an ambiance
Overtake the frigid struggle
And inevitably refurbish it
A land in a cloak of verdance
Profound and in its time
The earth begins to breathe
Surely, it awakens refreshed
To begin the cycle anew
That gives rebirth from demise
And freedom from immure
