Alas, aye alas it's not to be
A selfish love faded fathom tried
Hope exchanged for doubt so easily
In the frenzy of foolish pride
Residing in tears tattered ruin
A wasteland where there always blows
The stormy wails and woes spewing
Shattered dreams, their final throws
A heart that now beats only
In obeyance of the body's claim
A mind grey and gloomed lonely
A veil of clouds conceal the blame
Draining drizzle unrelenting
Wretched rain of rocky regrets
Upon damp and dinged fermenting
Numbed, mute meloncholy frets
No salvation so can be found
Truly a terrible travesty here
Only pain and suffering abound
Remain in dank abandon there
All the world's tears united
Could not create raging rivers
To wash away shames unsighted
Silent sins, solicitude's shivers
A stone standing solely breaking
Erect in weather's wearing way
Eroded in time's endless waking
Hoping for yet another day
No feelings fluttering, fleeting
No worries, fears, concerns or cares
Cold, hard, cruel, always defeating
All a love could dream, or ever dares
