In between before and after
darkness and Autumn and frost
windows and lights all off
radio and memories and the night
The dawn refuses to break
and the one bed flat grows smaller
and my world is sqeezed
in a blairy mind, in a drawer
ah, my heart, crazy incomplete heart
ah, my blairy mind, where are you running to
you are watching how you have become part of the Autumn
in ways you cannot stand
In between new and old
love and dead ends and hopes
smiles and tears and kisses
alive in yellowed pages
the eyes refuse to look elsewhere
the absence has grown
how could love and embrace become part
of such a small picture
