There once was a grumpy gnome
Who kept vigilant watch over his home
No one came near
No one made dear
Self secluded in musty catacomb
This gnome feared they know
Anticipated impending overthrow
So he jumped the sun
To attack anyone
Then drowned in the undertow
The gnome was the father
The sun choked by engulfing pother
Cruelty his employer
His ultimate destroyer
Oh why did he even bother
