The lengthy lament
Of autumn
Violins
Fills my heart
With a sluggish
Dullness
Suffocating
And drained, when
The hour sounds,
I remember
Long bygone days
And I weep.
And I drift
In the evil wind
That sweeps me away
Here and there
Just like
A dead leaf
In summer I’ll come back
As a newborn baby
To tap deep down your bones
The summer light
The imperfect tense
To conjugate as a more than present
To find the gold now
That hides deep down my bones
To be and to have been lost for so long
In another dimension like a spirit
Top-to-tail
To be and to have been
A ghost of flesh and blood
Humming a summer song
For all eternity
A summer song
