There isn't only suffering in this world
But how to believe in happiness
Gazing into these somber eyes
That alone drown in tears?
On the ship of our fate
We need a good helmsman
Who will set sails in time before the storm
And rip us outta the hungry clutches of the waves of despair
Surely the longed-for land in the distance
Will be as the usual, broken promise
Because dreams are begotten in the harbor of illusion
And there is something there that always chases us out to the sea
Our future, it's an unknown course
But you, wind, blow into the sails
And steer our ship in to the horizon
Where there's a serene and bright coastline
Though, it cannot be seen yet
