On the long, long road
I walked, fearing neither the edge nor God
I walked, hiding my anxiety under a mask,
On dusty grass, on dry sand.
I walked and carried all I had in my pocket:
Matches, a knife, a purse with money,
Which would only be enough for a stone
And lumps of soap, and a rope attached to it.
And around the sun shines insanely bright
And it spread out to the meadows without a beginning, without end
This earth, where it goes in order to return,
Pure dew in the morning
Lightly touching the fire of peace,
The ice gradually melted,
I opened myself to the summer heat
And the pain will subside, and the grievance will pass
How much have you lost, you don't know,
How much have you found? Well, no.
Believe and live, believe and you'll divine
When the light appears ahead.
And around the sun shines insanely bright
And it spread out to the meadows without a beginning, without end
This earth, where it goes in order to return,
Pure dew in the morning
